  1. James White (store manager)

This is the only smoke hood I trust for protection!

  2. Iris Greenberg

Hope I never see how good it is. Bought for a 10th floor Condo.

  3. Paul Sturrette

I bought this for protection-hope I never have to use it. I was re-assured by the American Certification

  4. Mario Paciaffi

This company was a pleasure to work with. I met them at a trade show and we purchased 10 of them for our entire staff in case of an emergency. I hope we never need to use them but it definitely makes me feel safer

  5. Alfonse Caputto

We live in a high rise as well as in a wildfire area. We take comfort from the extra time we have to escape from a fire.

  6. Paul Martin

Late last year, I purchased an iEvac smoke hood to increase my odds of survival in hotels and other public places during fires and civil unrest. I did a lot of research to find a product that had undergone sufficient testing and could be relied upon in an emergency.

I now carry the iEvac smoke hood in my backpack when I travel or am out and about in various meetings around town. I keep the iEvac in my carry-on luggage, and I’ve never had a problem with TSA getting it through security.

I also have the demo smoke hood for training purposes – I practice putting it on 2-3 times a week to improve the speed at which I can get it deployed. I HIGHLY recommend getting the demo hood as well – you don’t want your first time putting on the mask to be in the middle of an emergency. I keep it in my office next to my practice tourniquets – I regularly train with both to improve my deployment speed.

In a world where the threat dynamic seems to change constantly – fires, pandemics, civil unrest – having the right equipment is essential to me when I am hundreds of miles away from home. When your hotel is on fire at 3 AM, not having the right equipment can lead to disastrous results.

I paid full retail for these products. I receive no compensation from the company for recommending them. I just want more Americans to get better prepared to deal with emergencies.

Security experts recommend business travelers use smoke hoods to increase the odds of survival – that’s why I rely on iEvac. Because I plan on going home after the disaster.
